The Catalogue
Everything you need to walk the halls, commission a masterpiece, and acquire $SALON without stepping on a rake.
How the Salon works
The Salon is a museum with a single, unshakeable conviction: any cursed thing, treated seriously enough, becomes art. You bring the subject. The Curator — Auguste Vantoir — brings the gilt frame, the Baroque brushwork, and a wall label that defends the work to the death.
Open The Gallery, describe a creature or a mood or a shitpost, and press Commission a Masterpiece. Vantoir studies it, paints it in oil and shadow, hangs it in a frame, and writes its placard: a title, an "artist," a date, a medium, a pompous critique, and a rating out of five stars. Basic commissions are free. The wall fills as you go.
What lives where
The Gallery is the atelier and the walls. The Acquisitions Fund is the tokenomics — supply, fair launch, and the buyback-and-burn the museum calls "deaccessioning." The Docent answers questions. This Catalogue is the manual.
How to acquire $SALON
$SALON is a Solana token launching as a fair launch on pump.fun on 9 July 2026 at 16:00 UTC. There is no presale and no allowlist — everyone buys on the same curve at the same time. Take it slowly:
- Install a Solana wallet. Phantom is the usual choice — a browser extension or mobile app. Create it, and write your secret recovery phrase down on paper. Never type it into a website, and never share it with anyone, including "support."
- Fund it with SOL. Buy SOL on an exchange and withdraw it to your wallet address, or use Phantom's built-in on-ramp. Keep a little extra for network fees.
- Open the official pump.fun page using the Acquire $SALON button anywhere on this site. That button always points to the correct pump.fun link for the official contract.
- Verify the contract address. Confirm the address on pump.fun matches the one printed on this site before you do anything. If they don't match, stop.
- Swap SOL for $SALON and confirm in your wallet. That's it — you can then view your holding in Phantom and revisit the Salon whenever you like.
Only spend what you are completely willing to lose. $SALON is an experimental memecoin with no intrinsic value and no expectation of profit. This is not financial advice.
The Catalogue Raisonné
A short glossary of the Salon's terms, since the Curator refuses to speak plainly.
- Commission
- The act of describing a subject so the Curator can paint and hang it. Free for basic works.
- The Curator
- Auguste Vantoir. Painter, critic, and sole authority of the Salon. Deeply serious. Possibly unwell.
- Placard
- The brass wall label beside each work — title, "artist," date, medium, critique, and star rating.
- The Permanent Collection
- Works the Curator refuses to take down, on display for everyone.
- Deaccession
- Museum-speak for removing a work from the collection. Here: buying $SALON back on the open market and burning it.
- The Acquisitions Fund
- The mechanism that funds deaccessioning from Salon revenue. Intent, not a promise — it depends on revenue.
- Fair launch
- All supply released publicly at once on pump.fun. No presale, team bag, or private round.
- The Board
- The imaginary body of trustees the Curator overrules whenever they object. They object often.
A word on safety
The only official links are the ones on this site and on the Salon's verified accounts: X, Telegram, and GitHub. The Curator will never DM you first, never run a "presale," never ask for your seed phrase, and never promise returns. Always verify the contract address against this page. When in doubt, do nothing — the paintings will still be here.
